Robin made her Confession of Faith after being a part of our congregation for several years as an active member of the Merge youth group. She currently is a freshman at Highland Community College. Robin’s address is 1925 Hayes Drive. Welcome, Robin!
April 29th, 2007 - Tyler Pfizenmaier
Tyler transfers to First Christian from First Methodist here in Manhattan. Tyler’s address is 1400 Chase, Apt. 12, 66503. Welcome, Tyler!
April 8th, 2007 - Diana Martin
Diana Martin has come back to FCC. Diana and her husband, Gilbert, live at 3803 Powercat Lane #216, St. George 66535. Diana graduated from Manhattan High in 1955, and was an active member here until the early 1960s when she moved to Colorado. Gil and Diana moved back to this area in 1983. Diana has been engaged in the health care business, and Gil operates a furniture repair business located next to Feldcamps. Welcome, Diana!
January 21st, 2007 - Greg Thogmartin
Greg Thogmartin transferred his membership to our congregation on January 21st.
Greg is a Chaplain at Ft. Riley, and is being deployed to Iraq in February. His previous membership was with Rosendale Christian Church in Rosendale, Missouri. Greg pastored in South Haven and Wellington Kansas, and was ordained at First Christian in Wellington in 1989 by the Kansas Region. Greg and his wife Julie (who is originally from McPherson) and their eight children - Allison (18), Levi (16), Amanda (13), Megan (12), Rebekah (6), Abigal (5), Kathryn (2), and Luke (8 months) - live at 782 Ray Road, Ft. Riley, 66442.
While stationed in Texas, Greg worshipped for a time at the church in Kileen, where our former associate pastor, Karl Bunjes, is now senior pastor. What a small Disciple world! Welcome, Greg!
January 7th, 2007 - Treasa Ulmer
Treasa Ulmer placed her membership with us on January 7th. She transfers from Alta Vista United Methodist Church. Treasa is engaged to Sterling Wright, and has been worshipping with us for a number of months.

June 25, 2006 - Jerrod Wanklyn
Jerrod Wanklyn transferred his membership to First Christian Church from First United Methodist Church in Frankfurt, Kansas on June 25th. Jerrod is the father of Kate, and is engaged to Danielle Piper and they will be married here at First Christian on August 12th.

March 26, 2006 - Diane Daniel and son Zachery
We welcome Diane Daniel and her son, Zachery, who transferred from First Christian Church in Garden City. Diane is financial secretary at Anthony Middle School. She is helping with our Merge youth. Diane and her son, Zachery (16) reside in Wamego at 304 Spruce.

August 21, 2005 - Janice Barrons
We are happy to welcome Janice Barrons, who placed membership with us on Sunday, August 21. Janice has been participating in the Discussion Sunday School class. Janice is head of circulation at Hale Library at KSU. She and her husband have two grown children and one grandchild.

January 2, 2005 - Jim Dickie and Sally Harper
Jim Dickie and Sally Harper, 1220 Marlatt, 539-7510, placed their membership with our congregation on January 2. They have been worshipping with us a number of weeks, along with their grandchildren, Dominic and Diente. Jim transferred from University Christian Church in Manhattan, and Sally from First Presbyterian Church in Junction City.
Sally works part time as a social worker at Mercy Hospital and Jim is a self-employed contractor. One of Jim’s special interests is to go annually to Minnesota to harvest maple syrup from the same trees his grandfather used. Jim has 6 children, and he also enjoys time with his 15 grandchildren. Sally enjoys working with stained glass and knitting.

November 21, 2004 - Lisa Meuli (our pianist) and Tim Berggren.
Lisa was a member of New Basel United Church of Christ in Abilene, and Tim was a member of the United Methodist Church in Clay Center. Tim and Lisa are engaged to be married in 2005.
Lisa is a legal assistant for Patrick Caffey, P.A., and also has a private piano studio. She is secretary/treasurer for KMEA North Central District. Lisa enjoys flower gardening, tennis, home renovation and decorating purses.
Tim works at Larson Construction as a mechanic, and has two daughters, Shelby, age 11 and Harlie, age 3. Tim has many hobbies: he loves working with his horses, fixing up old team driven farm equipment, farming in general, being outside, fixing things, hunting, reloading bullets, and home renovation.
