TEAM MEMBERS

REACHING UP - Worship and Spiritual Life ministries of First Christian Church (DOC) focus on the Reaching Up activities of the Church.  These activities help to improve our worship experiences and create programs to deepen our spiritual lives.  These activities include planning and preparation of worship services, bible studies, retreats, etc.  Persons with an interest in these activities are encouraged to become involved.  There are many opportunities, both short-term and long-term, to be involved.

Remember to fill out the yellow “I Wish” folders during the service and put them in the offering plate if you have a favorite hymn or song you’d like to have sung during worship; we really do want your feedback!  We continue to try to get the sound balance just right for the majority of folks in the congregation, and we appreciate your patience as we make adjustments to our new or borrowed equipment.

Helpers are needed to fill in at the sound board during worship.  It is not nearly as hard as you might think, and you can ‘train’ for as long as you like before actually doing it.  Let me or Dave Rogers know if you’d like a ‘tour’ of the job!
