WHAT'S HAPPENING

 

We are excited about the many opportunities Discipleship Ministry will be providing for each and every one of us in 2012 - opportunities to learn and grow.

 

We are also excited to be starting the year with a new team member - our new CE Director, Kelly Reed-Harkness!!

 

Here are just some of the many events, activities and programs we are working on for 2012...

  • Valentine's Bread Deliveries to our widows and home-bound members.

  • Junior Youth Day Service Projects for our growing group of elementary aged kids.

  • Our Annual Soup Supper and Talent Show fundraiser.

  • Baptisms

  • Retreats and Summer Camps for every age group.

  • Vacation Bible School in June.

  • Young Adult and Young Family get-togethers throughout the year.

  • Continued Nursery Services for Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings.

  • Continued support for our five Sunday school classes
    (Preschool; Kids-4-Christ; Young Adults, Michael's Class; and Adults)

  • Continued Tuesday Noon Bible Study Series

  • New Tuesday Evening Bible Study Series

Remember - you do not have to be a member of the Discipleship Ministry Team to participate or help with any of these activities. If you see an event, activity or program you would like to be a part of, please let us know. We would love to serve with you!

 

MISSION OF DISCIPLESHIP...

TEAM MEMBERS

 

Discipleship ministries focus on activities that teach us how to be true disciples in the world we life in.  These activities encompass areas such as Nursery Care, Christian Education, Children and Youth Activities, Bible study, and our Church Library.  Persons with an interest in any of these ministry areas, especially those interested in helping to teach our children and youth become great Disciples, are encouraged to become involved.  There are many opportunities, both short and long term.
