OUR MISSION

TEAM MEMBERS

REACHING IN - Fellowship ministries focus on the Reaching In activities of First Christian Church (DOC).  These activities create experiences designed to build relationships within our Church Body.  These activities include planning and preparation for Congregational Gatherings, etc.  Persons with an interest in these activities are encouraged to become involved.  There are many opportunities, both short-term and long-term, to be involved.

WAYS YOU CAN HELP

Recap of recent events...

On March 21st, we celebrated Interim Pastor, Ken Finley's, time with us with a potluck and card shower.

On March 28th, we had a Family Game Night with between 20/25 people attending and enjoying an evening of games, food and camaraderie.

On Easter morning, April 4th, we enjoyed a great Easter breakfast with about 85 people attending. Donations resulted in $102 dollars being added to our Tend My Sheep Fund.

Upcoming Events...

On April 30th, we will have one last round of Table Fellowship for the season!

On May 2nd, during our worship service, Regional Minister Paxton Jones will be leading an installation service for our new Senior Pastor, Paul J. Allen, IV. Following the worship service in Fellowship Hall will be a potluck lunch celebrating Paul's installation. (There will not be a 5th Sunday potluck on May 30th)

On May 5th, for all church women, we will have our "Sweet Spring Salad Supper". The program will be Ginny Barnhard, Riley County Extension Agent Demonstrating “Good-For-You” Desserts!
