Welcome to our Kids-4-Christ page!
Kids-4-Christ is the name of our growing group of elementary school aged kids from kindergarten through 5th grade, and ages 5 through 11.

Saturday, January 21st - 2012! 10:00 am to 3:00 pm "Junior Youth Day - Winter Service Project" Helping "Second Helping"
In the weeks prior to January 21st, we will be asking our congregation and friends of the church to donate food items for our community's Second Helping kitchen which serves our community's homeless population each week with a healthy meal.
On Saturday, January 21st, our Kids-4-Christ kids and their friends will meet at the church between 10:00 and 10:30 am. We will enjoy an hour and a half of fun indoor games. At noon, we'll enjoy lunch together. After lunch the kids will spend the afternoon baking cookies to be donated to Second Helping.

Saturday, April 28th - 2012! 10:30 am to 3:30 pm "Junior Youth Day - Spring Service Project" Helping the "Emergency Shelter" and our neighborhood
In the weeks prior to April 28th, we will be asking our congregation and friends of the church to donate cleaning supplies for our community's Emergency Shelter which serves men, women and children in our community who need temporary shelter.
On Saturday, April 28th, our Kids-4-Christ kids and their friends will meet at the church between 10:00 and 10:30 am. From 10:45 am to 1:00 pm we will enjoy fun outdoor games and a meal together at our city park. At 1:00 pm, we will return to the church and load up the donations of cleaning supplies and deliver them to the Emergency Shelter. After making this delivery, we will spend our remaining time picking up trash along the residential streets in the neighborhoods near our church.

PAST ACTIVITY HIGHLIGHT! "Bethlehem Revisited"
On Saturday, December 3rd, 2011 our Kids-4-Christ group enjoyed a trip back in time to experience the night Jesus was born. We met at the church for a warm meal (pic 1), then bundled up and ventured out to Keats, Kansas for a tour through time (pic 2). We heard from Moses, David, Isaiah and Micah as they told prophecies of the coming of the Messiah (pic 3). We witnessed the Annunciation (pic 4). We heard Caesar's Decree and traveled to Bethlehem. We heard the news with the shepherds as the angels sang. And we visited the stable and celebrated Jesus' birth! What a memorable experience!
PAST ACTIVITY HIGHLIGHT! "Junior Youth Day - Fall Service Project" Helping the "T. Russell Rietz Regional Animal Shelter"
On Saturday, October 1st, 2011, our Kids-4-Christ group enjoyed a morning of fun fellowship at City Park, then spent the afternoon delivering donations to and touring the T. Russell Rietz Regional Animal Shelter. A great time was had by all!
