FCC offers classes for all ages as well as a staffed nursery. Throughout the year we cover a variety of topics and scripture. Bring the family and enjoy some coffee and doughnuts before the classes begin.
All Sunday School classes begin at 9:30 AM.
Children through High School (Education Wing):
Nursery
Children from 6-weeks old through 2 years old are welcome in our nursery. Our volunteer nursery attendants are loving and capable.
Pre/K
Children three years through 6 years old (must be potty trained) are welcome in our Pre/K class. Teacher, Renate Woodmansee, is a fun, loving and capable day care provider by trade with over 24 years of experience. Renate is assisted as needed by approved volunteers of our congregation. Your preschooler will have fun learning bible lessons through songs, stories and activities each Sunday.
Children
Our elementary students — 1st through 5th grade — are taught by Pam Russell, former director of special education and special services at USD 383. Pam is assisted as needed each Sunday with approved volunteers from our congregation. Students learn important life lessons through a variety of activities including bible stories, games, craft projects and more.
Middle School
Our middle school students are taught by David Woodmansee. Dave is beginning his sixth year teaching this class and also helps to lead the middle school and high school youth group. Dave is assisted as needed each Sunday by approved volunteers from our congregation. Each week we discuss questions raised by the youth, or discuss the week's lesson in the "Shine" curriculum which follows the lectionary. Through these discussions we gain a better understanding of the bible and our faith.
High School
Our high school class is taught by Bill McReynolds in a combined class with "Michael's Class". (Michael's class is named after Michael Masterson - who still attends the class each week). Bill also helps to lead the middle school and high school youth group. Each week, the high school class reads from the Bible and talks about the stories they read and how they can relate to our lives today as we grow from youth to adulthood.
Adults:
Michael's Class or "Mac's Class" (Education Wing)
