A Youth Musical Theatre Camp surrounding the theme of ‘Letting our Light Shine in the World’ and loving our neighbors near or far.
Instructors include professional Theatre, Dance & Music Educators from KSU & MHS
June 18-21; T-F, 3-5:30 pm Performances: June 21- 5 pm & June 23- 10:30 am For students currently completing 4th - 8th grade $20 fee per participant, includes T-shirt, due first day of camp Scholarships available upon request Contact: Linda Uthoff at [email protected] Our focus will be on teamwork, voice, movement/dance, acting-microphone-reading aloud skills. We will have time for fellowship and to get to know each other, have snacks from our excellent kitchen helpers and think about ways to share love, forgiveness and hope in our world, near and far. We will talk about accepting differences in others, finding our gifts and letting them shine! This is definitely a Christian praise camp, but we are open to learning about other faith traditions as well!
We have a limited amount of time, so we will learn 4-5 songs and a few Bible Verses on carrying light into the world. We are looking for the very best selections, but some we are considering (We are open to your student’s ideas too!):
